Summer is almost over and whilst it has not been ‘normal’, things appear to be returning to life before the pandemic.  It has been lovely to see the town so busy over August with visitors and residents alike coming back to shop in our local high street and enjoy our many cafes, hotels and public houses.

If you are planning to visit the Community Orchard this month, could I ask you to please only take enough fruit for your family to enjoy, allowing our entire community to benefit from this wonderful asset. Sadly, in past years this has not happened and it is so important that we all get a chance to taste this delicious fruit in a pie or crumble.

After a year off as a group activity, the Beating of the Bounds and presentation of the Feoffees annual accounts will take place once again this year – Saturday 25th September meeting under Bath Bridge at 9.30am, with coffee and accounts in the Market Hall afterwards. If you are new to Tetbury or if you have never taken part in this historic event, please come along – all are welcome.

If you think we may be able to help you or your group with an education or training grant or if you would like volunteer to help us or wish to know more about the work we do in our town, please visit our website – www.thefeoffeesoftetbury.co.uk - or speak to one of our members.
