Ahead of the Christmas lights being turned on December 1st, the two fir trees were installed outside the Market House to accompany the lights which have already been put up.

Our thanks to John Latter for providing the images and a summary below!

'We were Royally treated to cups of coffee from Perry & Bishop and the Arts Society (exhibiting in the Market House) plus delicious mince pies personally supplied by Hanna Lee (Rachel's daughter who works at Sentiments). Once Richard Witchell and his tractor arrived progress was swift. The new lights were somewhat of a challenge, especially for us of a more mature persuasion. Thanks to Rachel and David S they cracked the code. Us old 'uns then operated under their supervision ( the future looks bright). The lights went up so much quicker than last year; but of course the real proof will be how they look when switched on Thursday.'
